We are still in the wave of superfoods, this time we bring you a very special recipe: Spirulina Popcorn!
Spirulina offers a highly absorbable form of protein and contains all essential amino acids, so feel free to prepare this recipe and leave your final results in the comments!
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add ¼ cup of corn and cook with the lid slightly open, shaking the pot every 30 seconds or so, until most of the corn has popped (you'll know because suddenly there will be longer pauses between the popping sounds) .
3. Combine 3 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, spirulina, nutritional yeast, sea salt, and cayenne in a large bowl and mix with a rubber spatula.
4. Add popped corn and mix with spatula (or hands) to evenly distribute seasoning.
