¿Por qué el ejercicio hace la vida más fácil?

Why does exercise make life easier?

¿How did you start exercising This is one of the most common and followed questions I am asked after my life completely changed to a healthy lifestyle. I'll tell you a funny fact, I didn't like to train or exercise, I just didn't know where to start, what to do, I felt lost, I was mentally lazy, I felt exhausted and I didn't like the gym or going for a run, nothing. I felt that even dressing for the gym was a waste of time.

But now that I was able to make that change, I feel happy, creative, awake and wanting to live more than ever. I'm going to tell you my story a bit so you can use it as an example, just in case this happens to you or you know someone you can give advice to.

One day my body couldn't take it anymore and I passed out. I had to go to the hospital and that was when life made me stop. Doctors said that I was malnourished and that if I didn't take care of my body, it could affect my brain. It was there that I finally reacted and paid attention to myHealth & Wellness. And I started to wonder what that means You don't have to take care of your health when you're sick My heart beats and I breathe, it's not enough What does well-being meannestar?

Little by little, I began to investigate and understand why people exercise, why we need to eat balanced and healthy food. My curiosity began to strengthen and I began to see the light. I discovered that the world of health and wellness or fitness is full of light, love, life, fun, freedom, joy and peace. And I said this is what I need, but still I did not know how to start so that my mind would not play me dirty and if I did it the next day.

I was looking for answers or something shocking that would help me make a change, but a real change. Something that will not start on Monday and leave on Tuesday, something that could work from the inside out and shake my body, my mind and my life. One day a friend told me that what she had done was a type of"transformation" physical, routine and exercise plan.“A transformation ... what I need thatoooo,o,” said.

¡That was exactly what I needed! A plan! If you know me, you know that I am a producer and television director and I have to plan a lot, I constantly have to create the vision of a complete idea, write a script and create a plan to follow up with deadlines, mobilize and manage groups of people involved in the project, until the vision is achieved and everything becomes a reality.

So when they gave me this transformation plan for me, I felt like it was my script, everything was so clear, so easy, so fun, but still challenging. If that is! They had a 6-week Challenge challenge, an objective with a plan, and that was the language that I spoke the language of planning and production to make something come true and how my mind worked, with direction and always with a dream in mind, I could. do!cer!

I remember this day very much, I had made a commitment to myself, it was state election day in the United States in 2018, I was proud to have been able to vote once again in this country. That morning I had seen a video of Jennifer Lopez where she said:"If you have a goal in life, stick to it and don't faint until you reach it, don't go back.” And just that is exactly how I am with each production that is in my charge, I try to be my best and commit to my clients, to my work team, to be a leader, to commit to the project, the plan and the vision, as well. what did I say:

“And why not commit to myself, to myself.

And that's how my transformation started, the first days were a bit difficult and challenging, it was the acid test, the first week, not going back. My body ached, I bought the required food of the plan, supplements and proteins and some clothes to exercise.

Suddenly, my mind began to change and little by little I began to like everything. I committed to the challenge, I learned about portion control in meals, what supplements are for, I liked different exercises and I felt like an actress in a movie, my own healthy living movie, which was only in my life. head, but the commitment to myself and the respect for myself was stronger than laziness and excuses. Wanting to be light and live my light life.

Another thing that caught my attention wasfitness fashion.I used to look at the girls exercising on social networks and think that everything was a sham and that it was useless even though I had not or tried to tell me why or why to combine your exercise tennis shoes with gym clothes, If you are going to sweat and do something so boring and exhausting and I said well, I lose nothing, then I bought my first nice clothes to go to the gym and my first trainers to train, I felt incredible, as if that was the wardrobe that was in the script from the scene to go to my movie set, the gym.mnasio”.

It was all a mind game and a battle that I still have to fight to be honest, but I'm definitely a long way from where I started and I'm proud of myself. I stuck to the plan, did my research, asked questions, etc. Everything has been a beautiful journey that changed my life forever. And that's how I started exercising..

I tell you all this so that you can use it as an example, of something real that happens very common in our community. I'm not sure what your story is, but I know you can do it, you can change your life no matter the circumstances, you can train from home, you can run, you can stretch, you can eat better, it's just a matter of making a decision to transform your mind to YES YOU CAN. Commit to yourself, for yourself.

Here are some suggestions on how you could include exercise in your life, if you haven't already, make a plan and stick with it.

  • Create a wellness PLAN:Study yourself and see what you want to improve and develop it with awareness. This plan should include:* An exercise routine with schedules. Put on some cute exercise clothes to help you feel empowered..) * Healthy portion controlled meals with a meal schedule. Much water. Look at mymi article where I talk about meal-prep, this helped me and was part of the plan.) * Positive mindset and a commitment of at least 4 weeks in a row for you to see the change.

  • Schedule a specific time in your day to exercise: Try to do it at least 3-4 times a week. Respect the schedule that you are giving yourself is an excellent way to create thehabit from exercising.

  • Coach, gym with classes or guide to get started:A personal trainer can develop a training plan for a person's specific fitness level, goals, and availability. A gym or an app helps a lot too.

  • Take an exercise class Weekly two or three times a week can be a fun way to exercise on a set schedule.

  • Put physical activity in all aspects of life: There are many ways to fit exercise into a busy schedule in little ways. Take the stairs instead of using the elevator. Take breaks from desk work to walk for a few minutes. Go for a walk during lunch. Walk your dog every day. Take a walk with the kids to help them exercise more, too.
